Southern Prairie Education Agency 15 is one of 15 area education agencies statewide. We serve the school districts in the following counties: Appanoose, Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lucas, Mahaska, Monroe, Van Buren, Wapello and Wayne.

We employ approximately 220 staff members over half of which are located at our Ottumwa Central Office at 2814 North Court Street.

Our seven satellite offices are located on the following countries: Appanoose, Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lucas, Mahaska and Van Buren.

Our agency offers a variety of services to the 24 Area 15 school districts and to 4 non-public schools. Our services include: Instructional Services, Media Services, Technology Services, and Special Education Services.
